Palette Knife Painting with Acrylics class set March 4

Milton Arts Guild will offer Winter Landscapes: Palette Knife Painting with Acrylics, a class instructed by multimedia artist Kathy Fessenbecker from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 4, at the Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

Designed to expand students’ ability to creatively use palette knives to add dimension and texture to their work, this class will begin with a demo, followed by time for students to create several small pieces. An optional critique is included.

The course fee is $75, which does not include the student-supplied materials of acrylic paints, brushes, palette paper, knives and small canvases. To register and view the complete supply list, go to miltonartsguild.org.

Fessenbecker is a multimedia artist with over 30 years’ experience in acrylics, oil, watercolor, porcelain painting, color pencils and collage. Her art education stems from private classes and workshops. She teaches private classes and conducts painting parties. She is currently a member of the Milton Arts Guild and the Rehoboth Art League.
