The Beebe Healthcare team held its annual Community Health Fair Feb. 25 at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center in Rehoboth Beach. In addition to free health screenings, professionals from healthcare and community organizations were available to provide information and answer questions about healthcare.
Representatives were on hand to provide information on stroke, heart failure, diabetes, homecare services, overdose prevention, insurance information and more.
A variety of vendors and community organizations offered health and safety information for all ages in the third-floor ballroom. Beebe team members presented in the room next door throughout the event. Community members were able to win raffle prizes, learn how to reverse an opioid overdose with Narcan, schedule an appointment with a primary-care provider and enjoy a free lunch.
Beebe’s community outreach team provided free health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, bone density and body mass index.
