Add in a parade of drag queens, lots of comedy, including some off-color jokes, and food and drink and you have the ingredients making up the weekend Top of the Pines Restaurant Drag Brunch Show.
With Mona Lotts, a Rehoboth Beach female impersonator supreme, as emcee, three of her friends joined her to entertain the large audience on March 26 at the restaurant at 56 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. The event is held every Saturday and Sunday. Go to thepinesrb.com for more information. The show is billed as mature comedy and is only open to those 21 years of age and over.
Mona, who boasted she was the prettiest by far, was joined by Krista Kelly, Alonda Sanchez and Tamia Gisele Mykles.
Mona offered a heart-felt story about coming out as a gay man and her background and family life, which includes being a father to her daughter and grandfather to six children and her husband of 20 years.
