Fest Art to open at CAMP Rehoboth April 21
CAMP Rehoboth’s Fest Art 2023 will open Friday, April 21, with an artists’ reception set for 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 28, at 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. A community favorite, this exhibit held in conjunction with CAMP Rehoboth’s Women’s Fest celebrates women in the arts and their supporters.
The juror for this year’s exhibition is Roberta Tucci, a Delaware artist and teacher.
More than 100 artworks were entered for consideration, and Tucci had the daunting task of selecting the pieces that comprise the exhibition.
Inclusive of all mediums and new forms of art, Tucci chose 44 artworks by 44 artists in a variety of mediums including oil and acrylic paintings, photography, assemblage, ceramics, fabric art, stained glass and digital art. This year’s exhibit includes the first non-fungible token art to be exhibited at CAMP Rehoboth.
The talented artists are from throughout Delaware, as well as Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida and Wisconsin. And this year Fest Art has gone global, with artists from Japan and Venezuela as participants.
