Sussex Technical High School provides opportunities for students in their junior year to participate in pre-apprenticeship programs.
Students in automotive, Cisco networking, electrical and green, HVAC-R, carpentry and construction, and welding and fabrication technologies are eligible to begin earning hours in pre-apprenticeship-related training instruction in their senior year.
Students who complete the program can graduate with up to 2,000 on-the-job training hours and 144 related training instruction hours, providing them with advanced standing to enter their apprenticeship training pathway as a level 2 apprentice in the Sussex Tech Adult Education Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Sussex Tech is a public high school that prepares Sussex County students in grades 9-12 for their future success in both higher education and workforce environments.
