Rain threatened to cancel the 13th annual Broadwalk on the Boardwalk, but the event went off without a hitch April 30.
As part of Women’s Fest 2023, CAMP Rehoboth hosted the walk with the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The crowd was a little smaller than normal because of the weather, but those who did show up were happy to support the cause. The walk and associated activities commemorate those lost to cancer, celebrate survivors and educate others.
Originally focused only on breast cancer, the walk now includes people with any kind of cancer.

Everything was wet, but the rain held off long enough for the group to make its way from CAMP Rehoboth on Baltimore Avenue to Poodle Beach on the south end of the Boardwalk.
Making its way down Baltimore Avenue, the Broadwalk is a collaboration between CAMP Rehoboth and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
Holding her dog Josie, Sharon Liebal was diagnosed with cancer in March. Supporting her are (l-r) Kathy Kay, Holly Langley, Meghan Feliciani and Albert Feliciani.
