Margaret Elizabeth Robbins Sabo, loved her family
Margaret Elizabeth Robbins Sabo went to be with the Lord Monday, April 17, 2023. Maggie was the beloved daughter of Edward Allen Robbins and Elizabeth Dehauss Reeves Robbins (Betty). She was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers Edward Allen Robbins Jr. (Rob) and Malcolm Keith Robbins (Mickey).
Maggie grew up in Cambridge, Md., and with life’s travels, she made her home in Bridgeville. She lived in the woods in a log cabin with her very best friend, Judy Roach. She absolutely loved the cabin life. She worked as an outreach worker for Bridgeville Senior Center for many years before her retirement. Maggie loved to work with her hands creating needlepoint, cross stitch, sewing, painting and many other craft projects over the years. She also loved the Royal Family and England. She made the trip across the Atlantic Ocean several times to visit her ancestral country. She enjoyed meeting people and learning about their lives, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Mike Robinson, Kim Ewing (Rick), Tara French (Mike) and Sara Sifford; her 11 grandchildren, Cory Ewing, Elizabeth Wood (Tim), Taylor Ewing (Samantha), Cassie Ewing, Nick Ewing, Haley French, James French, Emily French, Megan Sifford, Alex Sifford and Sydney Sifford; and her seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barb Follett (Bill); along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Catholic Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 17, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy., Seaford. Interment will be private at a later date.
