Libby York returns to The Room at Cedar Grove June 11
Pianist Joe Holt will join coastal Delaware’s Queen of Jazz for a concert and wine dinner. Libby York, coastal Delaware’s beloved chanteuse, will perform at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, June 11, at The Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes, accompanied by Holt.
The international jazz singer was a co-owner of The Back Porch Café in Rehoboth Beach before successfully pursuing her passion for music. The concert, which includes a four-course wine dinner, benefits Paul Kares, a charity founded by Paul Cullen and Jim Rivette to support young musicians and aspiring culinary professionals.
“Libby is fun, funny and extremely talented,” Cullen said. “We’re so fortunate to get her between her gigs in Chicago and Michigan.”
Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and include the dinner and concert. Gratuity is not included. To purchase, go to paulkaresde.org.
The Room at Cedar Grove is located at 32882 Cedar Grove Road near Lewes.
