Bea Hickey noticed this lone beachgoer who appears to be guarding the nesting beach at the Point in Cape Henlopen State Park. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environment Control closes the nesting habitat on the ocean side to the public through Sept. 1. The bayside beach will be closed until Oct. 1, for use by migrating shorebirds.
