Lord Baltimore Lions Club holds new officer installation

The Lord Baltimore Lions Club held its annual installation of new officers meeting June 7 at Mac’s Catering in Millville.

The annual event provides an opportunity for Lions members to celebrate the highlights of the year of service and celebrate the incoming club leaders who were recruited to serve in February and placed in nomination for the club election in March.

Lord Baltimore Lions invited Past District Governor Kenny Vincent to lead the ceremony. This year, Vincent serves as global service team leader in Lions District 22D. He was joined at the dinner by his partner in service, Lion Cindy Vincent, and both are members of the Dewey Beach Lions Club.

Vincent congratulated the new officers on their willingness to serve in leadership, and he stressed the important role each officer performs in contributing to the overall success of the club.

Lord Baltimore Lions President Janet Bauer offered closing remarks and spoke of the positive service activities performed during the year.

Incoming Lions President Scott Brannan told members he looks forward to the new service year and is enthused at the possibilities for the club to expand present service opportunities and find new ones to better assist people of all ages living in the club service region.

The Lord Baltimore Lions Club new leaders are: President Scott Brannan, First Vice President Tony Rinaudo, Second Vice President Thrynn Kirby, Third Vice President Tom Molnar, Secretary Kathy Brannan, Assistant Secretary John Monahan, Treasurer PCS Janet Bauer, Assistant Treasurer Don Sherwood, Lion Tamer Bob Wisgirda, Tail Twisters - Sheryl Lewis and Claire Noble, Membership - PDG Karl Gude and Helene Kirby, Club Services Chair Jack Bauer, Communications Chair PCS Janet Bauer, LCIF Coordinator PDG Karl Gude, and directors Paul Bolton, Karen Lucas, Anne Gude and Helene Kirby.

The Lord Baltimore Lions have served the communities of Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville, Dagsboro and Frankford since 1946.
