Freedom Boat Club and Cape Water Tours and Taxi picked a night with an amazing sunset to host a cruise on Delaware Bay complete with music on the rocks at the base of the Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse off Cape Henlopen Point. Cape Water Tours sponsored its Lighthouse Palooza with three performers. Keith Mack entertained people on their boat, while and Roy Voshell and Cliff Hills sang from the breakwater rocks near the lighthouse.
And to add to the festivities, Freedom Boat Club staff member Lee Vandeloecht proposed to Megan Elizabeth Bailey along the walkway atop the lighthouse. Nearly a dozen Freedom Boats and three Cape Water Tours boats were filled with more than 175 people.
