Rehoboth Beach Film Society launches new membership level
Celebrating 25 years, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society has launched a new silver membership level, which joins its existing membership offerings to patrons who attend documentaries and first-run feature films at the Cinema Art Theater.
Memberships are available for avid filmgoers and those who go occasionally, and one can join any time of year.
For $200 per year, the silver membership provides 12 free tickets to CAT This Week films, year-round discounts to alternative programs including the MET Live in HD and special events, as well as festival priority seating. At $325 annually, the silver plus one package provides the same benefits and includes a guest, such as a partner or spouse.
With more than 1,800 members, the society currently provides entry-level member and member plus one packages at $40 and $70, respectively, which offer discounted ticket prices to CAT This Week, alternative programs and special events, and festival priority seating. For $700 and $1,100 annually, the gold and gold plus one memberships deliver free unlimited CAT This Week tickets plus discounts for alternative programs and festival priority seating.
In lieu of general admission priced tickets, membership provides cinema patrons with flexibility and at the same time supports the only art house theater in Sussex County. The Cinema Art Theater is a two-screen venue with a 104-seat stadium theater and a smaller screening theater, the JEMS, with 36 seats. The CAT has been in operation for the past 17 years at its current location, 17701 Dartmouth Drive (behind Wawa) in Lewes.
For more information, visit the Cinema Art Theater from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Friday or go to rehobothfilm.com.
