Diane D. Parson, loved her family, Dobermans
Diane D. Parson, 81, of Milton, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, after a short, unexpected illness. She was born Oct. 22, 1941, in New York, N.Y., daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Dietze.
In 1965, Diane met William Parson in New York and married. They went on to have two boys, William Jr. and Jeffery. Well-traveled throughout her entire life, Diane visited Africa, Europe, China, Mexico, and countless other countries. After 40 years of living in River Vale, N.J., and raising her family, she retired from the Internal Revenue Service to Delaware, to be near her brother and sister. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, road trips with her siblings, and always her Dobermans. Her favorite times were spent walking her Dobermans, and visiting her children and grandchildren.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband, William Parson. She is survived by her children, William and Jeffery Parson; her grandchildren, Tessa, Emma, Violet, William, Sophia and Madeline; her sisters, Dagmar, Dayrel and Debbie; and her brother, Arthur.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 3, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Valley Doberman Pinscher Assistance Inc., an organization that Diane felt strongly about.
