LYC Foundation provides sailing experience
West Side New Beginnings members get hands-on experience during sailing school

The Lewes Yacht Club Foundation sponsored several youth from West Side New Beginnings in Rehoboth Beach June 27-28 for two days of sailing instruction during its annual sailing camp.
After sailing camp was over, youngsters were treated to power-boat rides to see landmarks along the Lewes-Cape Henlopen State Park coast.
In addition, the foundation supports the YMCA water safety program and has funded drown-proofing for more than 1,600 children over the last decade. For more information, go to LYCFoundation.com.
The mission of the LYC Foundation is to provide funding to enhance the potential of youth in swimming, sailing, maritime activities and education.
