Pamela Savage, kind, caring soul

July 10, 2023

Pamela Savage, 65, of Milton, passed away peacefully in her sleep after bravely battling cancer for nearly a year. She was born Nov. 13, 1957, in Lewes, daughter of the late Jeannette (Jackson) and Floyd A. Tull Jr.

A lifelong native of Sussex County, Pam was a 1975 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. Born with a natural gift for sales, she enjoyed a lengthy career as an assistant store manager for TJX Companies and in-home sales companies. On Oct. 26, 1979, Pam married the love of her life, Theodore Robert Savage Sr., and together the two spent the next 43 years creating countless memories and raising a beautiful family. In her spare time, Pam loved crafting various projects, glamping, attending NASCAR and dirt track races with her family, and traveling at every opportunity. Coastal living afforded her the enjoyment of her favorite hobbies such as boating and fishing. Her love of life was contagious. Her smile, laugh, kindness, and caring nature will be forever missed by her family and friends. Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her brother, Randy A. Tull. She is survived by her beloved husband, Theodore; her children, Catherine Ann Savage, Theodore Robert Savage Jr. and Randi Nicole Gootee; her grandchildren, Monte Robert-Allen Gootee and Kaitlyn Marie Gootee; and her sons-in-law, Monty Gootee and Greg Royce.

Services will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
