Man dies after jumping from Indian River Inlet bridge

A man has died after intentionally jumping from the Indian River Inlet bridge July 10. The incident occurred about 10:30 a.m. Several agencies responded to the area to search for the man, including firefighters, EMS, divers and aviation units. His body was recovered around noon.
Sr. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto of the Delaware State Police said no additional information will be provided due to the nature of the incident.
