Sally Ann Tobin, enjoyed yard sales
Sally Ann (Bogia) Tobin, 71, of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of Wilmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Friday, July 7, 2023.
Sally was born Dec. 20, 1951, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Ernest E. Bogia and the late Rita (Balling) Bogia. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic High School, Class of 1970, in Wilmington.
When Sally wasn’t telling Larry what he should do, she dabbled in real estate with Long & Foster. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and finding a good treasure.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Tobin Jr., earlier this year; and a brother, Ronald Bogia. She is survived by her two sons, Travis Tobin (Tammy) of Millsboro, and Craig Tobin (Nicole) of Wilmington; a brother, Bill Bogia of Millsboro; a sister, Gerry Nichols (Nick) of Wilmington; a sister-in-law, Sandra Bogia of Millsboro; and also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 17, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 401 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach, where a viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Sally’s name to VITAS Hospice, 30265 Commerce Drive, Unit 202, Millsboro, Delaware.
