Beebe Bash raises funds for emergency departments
The annual Beebe Bash was held July 14 at the Lighthouse Cove in Dewey Beach, where nearly 600 attendees raised funds for Beebe Healthcare's Emergency Services at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus and the South Coastal Health Campus in Millville.
The fundraising event included food stations, open bar, live entertainment with Decade 80 and a live auction.
“The Beebe Bash is the biggest party of the summer, and gathers together so many donors and supporters to help raise funds for both of our emergency departments in Lewes and in Millville,” said Beebe Medical Foundation President Tom Protack. “This year, we had a record crowd of supporters who enjoyed a fabulous night. Thank you to everyone who joined us, sponsored the event and donated live auction items. Together, we all were able to raise funds and awareness to support our local not-for-profit healthcare system.”
“Rebecca and I had a wonderful evening at the Beebe Bash celebrating Beebe Healthcare, the foundation and the philanthropic community who supports their local, community nonprofit healthcare system,” said Dr. David A. Tam, president and CEO of Beebe Healthcare. “The funds from the bash help support our emergency departments, and I’m so thankful for the support of the community as Beebe continues to grow with it thanks to an amazing team of healthcare workers.”
