Frank Anthony DiMatteo, enjoyed fishing
Frank Anthony DiMatteo, 77, of Millsboro, formerly of Newark, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, at Cadia Healthcare Renaissance Rehabilitation in Millsboro.
He was born Dec. 3, 1945, in Wilmington, son of the late John and Nelva (Lemons) DiMatteo.
Following military service to his country in the United States Army, Mr. DiMatteo worked for over 30 years as a technician for the Chrysler Plant in Newark. Later, after retirement, he relocated to lower Delaware where he enjoyed fishing. When living in the Newark area he could always be found in his wood shop or tinkering on an old car in the garage.
His survivors include his great-niece, Hope Marie Miller of Gainesville, Fla., many cousins, and many members of the Lemons Family of North Carolina.
Friends and family may visit from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 North Bedford St., Georgetown, where military honors will be rendered at 4 p.m.
