When has it become dangerous to have a bumper sticker and to obey speed limits when driving? It’s very frightening to have a vehicle so close to your back bumper, then come around and cut so close to your front bumper that you have to swerve out of the way to avoid being hit. We don’t do that to anyone who may have a sticker on their car, or would even think of doing that. What is going on on our roads? Someone is going to get killed! We are senior citizens, for God’s sake.
It’s just a matter of time before a fatal accident happens on Nassau bridge; the speed limit is 45 mph, not 60 or 65. We will continue to drive on our roads, obey the speed limit and pray that we remain safe. I look forward to the day when we return to being courteous on our roads and respect others.
