Margaret A. Zangle, longtime waitress

Margaret “Marge” A. Zangle, 79, of Lewes, formerly of Florida and Middletown, N.J., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, in Accent Care, Christiana Hospital, Wilmington.

She was born March 28, 1944, in Long Branch, N.J., daughter of the late William C. Best and Anna (Mitterer) Best.

Marge worked as a waitress her entire life, lastly being employed at Marina Diner in Belford, N.J. 

She was amazing at crafting and made beautiful scrapbooks for her beloved husband and grandchildren. Marge enjoyed reading, playing solitaire and loved all types of animals. She gave everybody a chance and was an altogether caring person.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Zangle, and her daughter, Robin Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Faith Schenker of Lewes; two grandchildren, Layla and Ricky Schenker; and cousin, Jennifer Lopes-Tiesler of Punta Gorda, Fla.
