Dogfish Head to present Analog-A-Go-Go events Nov. 17-18
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery’s annual Analog-A-Go-Go festival will be held from 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, at the brewery’s Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen.
The celebration of all things craft will feature an outdoor artisanal marketplace with vendors selling records, vintage goods, crafts, apparel, jewelry and more; 14 exclusive beer and spirit samples; live music acts; the launch of a new collaboration with Juniper Ridge; and a special art installation by the Developing Artist Collaboration.
General admission tickets are $50 per person. Ticket price includes an Analog-A-Go-Go tasting glass, 5-oz. pours of 14 different beer samples as well as cocktail samples, access to the artisanal marketplace and live music performances. Designated driver tickets are also available for $15, and include a festival sampling glass, soft drinks, and access to the artisanal marketplace and live music performances.
In addition to the festival’s traditional, fan-favorite offerings, Dogfish Head will launch a new, limited-time collaboration crafted in partnership with Juniper Ridge, an independent personal care brand based in Oakland, Calif.
Dogfish Head and Juniper Ridge have joined forces to fuse their distinct yet complementary artisanal distilling approaches to craft Walk With Wildness, a ready-to-drink bottled whiskey cocktail, as well as a full lineup of personal care products – a cologne, a room spray and an incense – with the same name. Each of the collaborative products provides a different interpretation of a shared set of parameters; each was made using the same ingredients and distilling technique to create a totally unique experience.
The scratch-made ready-to-drink bottled whiskey cocktail artfully blends the best of natural ingredients from both coasts by combining Dogfish Head’s Delaware-made spirits and California-foraged herbs from Juniper Ridge. Dogfish Head’s Hull & Helm Whiskey is rested on Delmarva beach plums, infused with White Sage Mint Tea and rounded off with a touch of sweet cherry juice. Walk with Wildness (32.5% ABV), the cocktail, is best enjoyed over ice or neat to truly feel the forest and taste the coast. It will be available at Analog-A-Go-Go for sampling and in to-go bottles at Dogfish Head’s Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen, while supplies last.
The Walk With Wildness lineup of personal care products embraces the fusion of Dogfish Head's Delaware-made spirits and California botanicals. Using a Let’s Get Lost whiskey barrel from Dogfish Head that also aged its Mellowdious Gin, Juniper Ridge distilled the barrel wood to release its essence and then amped up the aroma with its own blend of botanicals, creating a scent that perfectly captures the essence of both coasts.
For those unable to attend the festival, the complete Walk With Wildness personal care product line will be available for purchase online at juniperridge.com and dogfish.com. Dogfish Head enthusiasts can also find a limited supply of Walk With Wildness Cologne at the brewery’s coastal Delaware locations, while supplies last.
At this year’s Analog-A-Go-Go, Dogfish Head is also celebrating the fourth and final installment of its 2023 Benevolence Beer Series, brewed in partnership with the Developing Artist Collaboration, a local nonprofit that provides artists with career development, peer connection and physical spaces to build elevated creative lifestyles. DAC will showcase an art installation made of beer cans, each individually decorated by members of the local community. The beer itself, Creative Juices (5.8% ABV), is a fruited kettle sour brewed with pomegranate, green tea, ginseng and ginger, and folks attending Analog-A-Go-Go can expect to see it as one of the many samples available at the festival.
While the main event is taking place at Dogfish Head’s Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen Nov. 18, the Analog-A-Go-Go festivities will happen all weekend long with a rockin’ lineup of live music spanning the brewery’s Delaware locations.
The lineup with performances by Schoolly D with Supreem Da Rezarekta is set for 9 to 11 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at Dogfish Head’s Rehoboth Beach brewpub, Brewings & Eats. At the Analog A-Go-Go festival Saturday, attendees can expect live music by Huntingtons starting at noon, followed by Yarn at 2 p.m. Back in Rehoboth on Saturday evening, Florry will take the brewpub stage from 9 to 11 p.m.
