Clear Space Theatre 2024 season subscriptions on sale now

Clear Space Theatre Company announced the details of its 2024 season, which will be led by David Button, artistic director, alongside Joe Gfaller, new managing director.

The season, which marks Clear Space’s 20th anniversary, will feature a combination of beloved classic plays and musicals like “A Raisin in the Sun,” “My Fair Lady” and “Sweeney Todd,” alongside compelling and engaging new stories for the stage, such as, “The Descendants,” “Venus in Fur” and “The Prom.”

Subscriptions to the new season are available now, starting at $276 for adults and $236 for seniors, covering 10 productions. Al and Alice Willis are presenting sponsors for the 2024 season.

“We are thrilled to share another joyful, surprising and eclectic season with the community in lower Delaware,” said Button. “It’s always a delight to introduce our audiences to new plays and musicals that they are sure to love – and to bring cherished classics they love back to them in fresh, new stagings.”

“David has curated an exciting and dynamic season that I’m thrilled will be my first in Rehoboth Beach with Clear Space,” said Gfaller. “From the first moments of suspense at Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ in January through the toe-tapping romance planned at ‘White Christmas’ over the holidays as the season ends, there is something for everyone in 2024. I look forward to welcoming long-tenured and brand-new subscribers, along with all of our ticket buyers and supporters, to Clear Space throughout the year ahead.”

Subscribers enjoy the best seats throughout the season at the lowest prices, with the ability to purchase additional tickets to CSTC’s Spotlight on Young Performers productions at a significant discount.

New subscriptions can be purchased now, with seating assigned after all current subscribers have had the opportunity to renew their current seats. Clear Space’s 2023 season concludes with “Godspell,” Friday to Sunday, Nov. 10 to 12, and the new holiday musical, “Estella Scrooge,” opening Friday, Nov. 24.
