Sharing a shadowbox display of butterfly specimens is David Owen, a University of Delaware Carvel Research and Education Center educator.
Milton Elementary second-graders recently began a reading unit on bugs and their ecosystems.
Educators David Owen and Morgan Malone from the University of Delaware Carvel Research and Education Center recently stopped by to introduce classes to a number of different insect groups. Students learned the differences between insects and arachnids, and the number of bugs in the world, and even had the opportunity to see some bug specimens from an up close and personal view.
