Aquacare team member and friend host pet food drive for HAP

To raise food and funds for Humane Animal Partners in Rehoboth Beach, Christine Dickinson, an Aquacare team member at the Route 24 location, worked with her podcast partner and gym friend Doug Roach. They each donated the number of pounds of pet food to equal the amount of weight they have lost, a total of 370 pounds. They invited the community to donate as well. The total donation amounted to 1,200 pounds of food.

They also partnered with OutLoud Sports, a community sports league, to host a turkey toss cornhole tournament, which also raised funds to purchase pet food. They plan to make it an annual event the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The name of their podcast is called “The Art of Losing Your But,” a show featuring two friends trying to help others to lose weight and not feel alone.
