UNICO Delaware installs officers, welcomes new members

In October, UNICO District Gov. Sal Ingallina of Harrington swore in new officers Dr. Steven Stanzione, president, and Pam Notarangelo, vice president.

Stanzione then inducted nine new members, Lucille D’Alfonso, Joan Moses, Susan Leathery, Michael Scalise, Gina D’Alfonso, Jean Brolund, Suzanne Yenzi, Rose Conley and Jessica Conley.

After enjoying antipasti and wine, friends and attendees were treated to a presentation and tasting of Rosaline di Pasta alla Romagnola by member Terri Crovato and an informative session on helpful hints for seniors by Ryan Clark.

Next year’s activities will include an Italian movie night Thursday, Jan. 18;  a Carnevale celebration Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Sunny Bay Café; and a scholarship award dinner in March. Proceeds from these events are donated to local and national charities.
