Fit and Fab Over 40 program to kick off Jan. 8
Local fitness expert Alicia Bercury is on a mission to empower individuals, especially those over 40, to rediscover their strength, resilience and vitality.
With more than 15 years of experience, Bercury is introducing her Fit and Fab Over 40 8-week program, with session offerings beginning Monday, Jan. 8, at Lewes Wellness Center, 20268 Plantation Road, Lewes.
A departure from conventional fitness routines, the innovative program integrates both in-person and virtual classes, providing flexibility and accessibility to meet the diverse needs of community members. With a commitment to holistic wellness, the program extends beyond exercise, offering nutritional support in the form of detailed meal plans and recipes. Bercury's emphasis on accountability for transformation ensures participants not only set but achieve their wellness goals, receiving unwavering support throughout their transformative journey. It's more than a fitness program; it's a holistic approach to well-being tailored for the community.
“Fitness is not just about exercise; it's a journey toward a healthier, happier lifestyle. My goal is to guide individuals to feel their best, both physically and mentally,” said Bercury.
Local residents are encouraged to bid farewell to crowded gyms and generic workouts, and kick-start the new year with a fresh mindset to foster fitness and fabulous living.
Bercury's fitness journey began with a strong educational foundation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor concentration in adapted physical activity.
