Marleyz Smoke Shop now open in Five Pointe Plaza near Lewes

Closing out the year on a high note, Marleyz Smoke Shop has opened in the Five Pointe Plaza off Route 1 outside Lewes.

During an interview Dec. 22, owner M.J. Awadallah said it’s the company's seventh location and the fourth this year. The Dewey Beach location was its first, he said.

The new smoke shop is located in the storefront that was the longtime home to Comcast Xfinity, which moved to Tanger Outlets Seaside a few months ago. One side of the shop is lined with glass water pipes on the wall and smaller pipes in a display case. The other side of the shop is where the CBD and vaping supplies are located.

Ranging from $20 to $500, Awadallah said they have a wide selection of good-quality pipes at good prices. The prices match what customers can find through online retailers, but now they get to come in and see the product for themselves before purchasing, he said.

In addition to pipes, Marleyz also features a wide range of CBD products and vaping supplies. CBD is a good way to help with pain and anxiety without all the negative side effects that can come with traditional medicine, said Awadallah. Vaping doesn’t have the same positive benefits, but it’s at least much better for someone than cigarettes, he said.
