Section of Cave Neck Road to close Feb. 7-9
The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced the closure of the section of Cave Neck Road between Diamond Farm Road and Hudson Road beginning at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7 through the evening of Friday, Feb. 9. Crews will replace a failing crossroad pipe. Traffic barrels have been alerting drivers to the failing roadway for several weeks.
From Milton, drivers should turn right onto Diamond Farm Road, then left onto Walker Road. Once reaching Hudson Road, a left turn will take drivers back to Cave Neck Road. From Route 1, drivers should turn left off Cave Neck Road to Hudson Road, then right onto Walker Road. Once reaching Diamond Farm Road, drivers should turn right to go back to Cave Neck Road.
