Dewey Beer Co. to toast Best Brewpub title March 21-22

Dewey Beer Company recently announced its selection as Best Brewpub in the Nation in USA Today’s 10 Best People's Choice Awards. The accolade, a result of meticulous deliberation by an expert panel and the overwhelming support of the public, solidifies Dewey Beer Company's standing as a leader in the craft brewing industry.

To celebrate the monumental achievement, Dewey Beer Company invites all patrons and beer enthusiasts to gather for a two-day party Thursday and Friday, March 21 and 22, at the original location, 2100 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach. Highlights include specials on food, core beers, merch and limited-edition shirts.

The company was founded in May 2015 by owners Mike Reilly, Brandon Smith and Scot Kaufman. "We've been on a wild and grateful ride for the last nine years. We're surrounded by the best team and continue to explore all the fun things associated with creating beer and food. We've always followed our love for beer, and fortunately, our guests have enjoyed the experience," said Smith.

Dewey Beer Company's journey to the top includes being ranked No. 1 in Delaware on the popular Untappd app from 2018 to the present, a testament to its consistently outstanding brews. Expanding its reach in 2020, Dewey Beer Company opened a second location in Harbeson, focusing on production for distribution from coast to coast. In 2022, the brewery was named Best Microbrewery by Delaware Today. Most recently in January, the team expanded westward of Delaware, opening a location in Denver.
