New businesses coming to Union Street in Milton
Two new tenants will be going into the Linda Vista Plaza on Union Street next to the library in the heart of downtown Milton.
The first is a familiar face: the Milton Chamber of Commerce, which will be opening a new visitors center later this spring. The second, Sweet Chalet, a candy and gift shop, is still under construction.
Located next to Milton Public Library, the building was the longtime home of 302 Bicycles, which closed in December after owner John Lehne was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, a form of gastrointestinal cancer. Lehne died of the disease Jan. 27.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane.
