REHOBOTH BEACH, DE: The Listening Booth/We’re Listening is thrilled to announce the launch of our latest round of music education groups, aimed at fostering creativity, skill development, and a deep appreciation for music among students of all ages. Starting April 8th, we are introducing a diverse range of 6-week long group classes as well as private lessons taught by experienced instructors, designed to cater to the musical interests and aspirations of our community.
Classes offered are as follows:
Songwriting for Teens with Marissa Levy:
When: Wednesdays 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Description: Led by owner of The Listening Booth and singer/songwriter Marissa Levy, this engaging class invites teenagers to explore the art of songwriting. Participants will delve into various techniques, from lyric composition to melody crafting, in a supportive and collaborative environment. Whether they're beginners or seasoned songsmiths, students will find inspiration and guidance to channel their creativity into compelling musical narratives.
Vocal Performance with Marissa Levy:
When: Mondays 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Teens), Mondays 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM (Adults)
Description: Hone your vocal skills in a supportive environment led by owner of The Listening Booth Marissa Levy. Tailored for both teens and adults, these classes offer a dynamic exploration of vocal techniques, stage presence, and performance skills. Whether aspiring to the spotlight or seeking to refine their abilities, participants will receive personalized instruction to unlock the full potential of their voice.
Finding the Groove Group Guitar for Adults with Nate McCormick:
When: Tuesdays 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Description: Join our upcoming group guitar lessons tailored for those seeking to elevate their playing and jamming abilities. Our classes are designed to invigorate your sound and refine your style. We'll equip you with the tools to play and jam more effectively with friends, fostering greater musical communication and personal expression. Led by our Director of Education, Nate McCormick, this session will delve into various techniques and approaches aimed at helping you carve out your unique musical identity. Prepare to expand your musical horizons, unlock your creative potential, & ignite your inspiration!
