Denim buy-back to benefit local nonprofits thru April 15

April 1, 2024

Blooming Boutique is partnering with the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club to host a denim buy-back donation event through Monday, April 15, at its Lewes, Long Neck and Milford locations.

The event allows people to bring in old jeans to be donated in exchange for store credit. In addition to recycling denim, the effort gives back to the community by donating collected jeans to various Sussex County nonprofit organizations that support people in need.

Men’s and women’s jeans will both be accepted. The team of style mavens will inspect every pair with the utmost care, ensuring donors receive the correct credit. Check out the deals: Love it, leave it (unwearable) donations net a $5 store credit per pair. Well loved (worn, normal wear and tear) donations receive a $10 store credit per pair, and new jeans with tags earn $20 store credit per pair.

Every pair donated gains an entry toward winning a gift basket drawing filled with treats and a $100 store credit.

In a February collaboration, the two organizations raised over 4,000 pounds of food for Epworth Food Pantry.
