Arthur Herbert Johns, General Electric retiree
Arthur Herbert Johns of Lewes died Friday, April 5, 2024. He was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Scranton, Pa. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marilyn M. Johns; son, Arthur "Chip" H. Johns Jr.; daughter, Anne L. Johns; two granddaughters; and four great-grandsons.
He and Marilyn retired to the beach in Lewes following his 30-year career with General Electric. He will be remembered as a kind and loving friend and neighbor, and a devoted witness to his Christian faith.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 7, at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 20276 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
