Virginia L. Ferrer, enjoyed crafts, playing bridge
Virginia “Ginny” L. Ferrer of Lewes passed away peacefully Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Breakwater Village, Lewes. She was born in Abington, Pa., Dec. 8, 1939, daughter of the late Robert H. Loucks and Ruth (Anthony) Loucks.
Ginny graduated from Pennsberry High School in Yardley, Pa., in 1957. She continued her education at Penn State University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in liberal commercial arts in 1961. She married her college sweetheart after graduating from college in 1961. She and her husband relocated to Delaware in November 1996, where she became a member of First Town Club of Lewes and Groome United Methodist Church. Ginny enjoyed arts and crafts, needlework and bridge. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Ginny was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Aldolfo Ferrer. She is survived by her son, Douglas W. Ferrer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 15, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins Lodge Chapel, 19691 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
