Beverly Ann Kennedy, faithful church member

Beverly Ann (Foltz) Kennedy, 81, passed away at home in Lewes surrounded by loved ones Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was born May 23, 1942, in Wilmington, at Memorial Hospital.

Beverly graduated from Newark High School Class of 1960 and remained close friends with many of her classmates through the years. She was always a member of the United Methodist Church and put Jesus Christ first in her life.

Over the years, Beverly had the privilege of growing in experience and meeting new friends in many career opportunities. Friends were the center of her world, after her daughter, who always came first.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude (Laws) and Tunis C. Foltz; and brother, Tunis C. Foltz Jr. (T.C.). She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Broc) Kennedy Silberzahn; granddaughter, Elizabeth; and grandson, Jacob. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, a niece, a nephew, and loyal cousins, and she was blessed with many friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., Friday, May 10, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lewes. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception.
