Fused glass art workshop for beginners set May 30

The Rehoboth Art League will offer a fused glass workshop for beginners from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, May 30, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Students will learn basic fusing concepts focusing on arranging glass for flat fusing. Participants will complete three fused glass projects: a trivet, an ornament and a pendant, all incorporating abstract designs. The instructor will also discuss the different kinds of glass that are available and demonstrate how to cut the glass for projects. The class is open to students at a beginner skill level, 16 years and older. Cost is $60 for members or $70 for nonmembers.
