Young author to sign novel at Browseabout Books June 29

Storyteller and young author Austin Gillette will sign copies of his debut book, “When Wolves Run,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 29, at Browseabout Books, 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

A curious little wolf named Mole just wants to make friends and learn everything he can about the human world. He meets some unlikely pals and thinks life couldn’t be more perfect ... until he’s spotted in a very public place. Mole and his friends are put in danger, and he has to make a decision that will affect everyone’s future.

“I love to write and want to encourage other kids to not be afraid to use their imagination and write their own stories,” said Austin.

The 10-year-old spends time between Rehoboth Beach and Stafford, Va., with his parents, sister Kayla, brother Luke, dog Obi and cat Fozzie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games and reading good books.
