Constance Richardson Cecil, active in community

Constance “Connie” Richardson Cecil passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Presentation Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Brighton, Mass. She was born Dec. 3, 1947, in Dover, to Edward Woodward Richardson and Marilyn Harriet Lucey.  The family moved to Framingham, Mass., in 1960. Connie attended Rosemary Hall School in Greenwich, Conn., from 1961-65.  She lived most of her life in Massachusetts, including most recently in Jamaica Plain, where she was active in neighborhood projects and causes.

Connie was predeceased by both of her parents; her younger sister, Suzanne L. Richardson; and her uncle and aunt, Alden B. Richardson III and Rebecca S. Richardson. She is survived by her uncle and aunt, William F. and Gretchen Z. Richardson; and her first cousins, Emma Richardson, Neva Richardson and Sarah Richardson Straley (Mark), their daughters Rebecca R. Straley and Catharine E. Straley, and Alden B. Richardson IV (Ellen), their sons David A. Richardson and Daniel B. Richardson, and Carl S. Richardson, his sons Matthew A. Richardson and William A. Richardson, and the children of David and Daniel.

Connie was interred June 7, at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, Mass.
