June 22, 2024

County Bank recently announced Scott Rukowicz has joined its team as vice president and mortgage officer.

Rukowicz brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the community. His distinguished banking career began at Maryland National Bank in Baltimore. Upon relocating to Delaware, he was a branch manager at WSFS Bank, where he was ultimately promoted to small business relationship manager. In 2009, he joined Bank of Delmarva as a branch/relationship manager, a position he held with dedication and excellence until 2024. His primary focus was generating new residential construction loans and mortgages throughout Sussex County.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rukowicz is deeply rooted in the community. He has served as a board member of the Georgetown Little League, where his leadership and passion for youth sports made a lasting impact.

“We are very lucky to have Scott. He has an extensive history in banking and great reputation in the local mortgage market. I am looking forward to working with Scott as we further develop our presence in the market,” said Clay Serman, senior vice president, chief lending officer.

Rukowicz and his wife Mary reside in Georgetown with their son Conrad.
