Jane Green Mann, loved bowling, knitting

Jane Green Mann, 93, of Wilmington, and Lewes, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Hockessin.
 
Jane graduated from AI DuPont High School in 1948 and later went on to work as a bookkeeper. She spent many days following her sons’ club activities, organizations, and sporting events. Additionally, she participated in Hercules Powder Company social activities, and greatly enjoyed golf and bridge. She loved bowling and belonged to several bowling leagues. Jane was an avid knitter and a reader of mystery novels. Over the years, she joined several country clubs and bridge groups.
 
Jane is predeceased by her loving husband, James K. Mann; her father, Charles George Green; her mother, Elizabeth Lynch Green; and her brother, George Green.
 
She is survived by her three sons, James “Kirk” Mann Jr., Christopher G. Mann (Margaret) of Smyrna, and Michael Mann. Her legacy will continue to live on through her beloved children as well as her 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
A service for Jane will be held privately.
