Fall fun at Conley UMC festival

Lewes church opens doors to community at annual event
October 5, 2024

The annual Fall Festival held Sept. 28 at Conley’s United Methodist Church near Lewes offered something for everybody.

Conley’s rescue goat ministry helped keep kids entertained, along with the Peter Rabbit Puppet Show.

There was a wide variety of vendors for parents inside the church hall, including blankets, solar lamps and even some early Christmas decorations.

Everybody enjoyed the bake sale, hoagie sale and the smell of fresh popcorn.

Louise Finn, Conley’s chair of evangelism, said the festival is a chance for Conley’s to open its doors to the community.

“They can experience what we have to offer. That’s why the sanctuary is open and we have prayer available for people,” Finn said.

Finn said Conley’s is in a growth mode, welcoming younger families to the congregation and building a prayer garden.
