I am writing to express my full support for Stell Parker Selby for the 20th District House seat. As a Lewes native and product of the Cape Henlopen School District, I have known Parker Selby as both a member of the community and as an educator when she was an administrator within the Cape Henlopen School District.
As an administrator, she was firm but fair. She required excellence and accountability from all students. Her passion for the success of her students was the same whether you saw her inside one of Cape's schools or if you saw her in the community. She's always had the ability to not only identify a student, but she could also always tell a student that she knew their family and who to speak with to enact positive change.
Parker Selby's institutional knowledge of the communities within the 20th District, and the people who call it home, have been an asset during her tenure as the sitting representative of the 20th District.
Her vision for the 20th District is one that promises to provide continued leadership that will be advantageous to the overall well-being of residents. With a priority on quality education, she is ensuring a bright future for the district. Throughout my adult years, I have experienced working with Parker Selby on various community projects. The knowledge and leadership that I witnessed first-hand makes her my candidate of choice and the person I believe is best suited to represent the residents of the 20th District.
