Simpler is the voice we can count on

October 15, 2024

As our community faces numerous challenges, it’s crucial that we rally behind leaders who prioritize innovative solutions, choice and inclusive growth. Mike Simpler stands out as the candidate committed to these principles. His six-point commitment to the people of our region includes fighting for all of us in Dover on important education, environment, infrastructure and healthcare issues and, most importantly, supporting our individual rights and freedoms, especially for our LGBTQ community and women's freedom over their health and reproductive rights decisions. As a father of two daughters, and having a special needs child, Mike is a champion for the rights of others, free of more government mandates and orders, unlike his opponent.

With a proven track record in a lifetime of dedicated and direct public service, Mike has consistently demonstrated his dedication to helping people, making his community better, and investing in the growth of others. His hands-on approach ensures that community voices are heard, and his policies aim to create a sustainable future for all residents, enhancing our region and its attractiveness for others.

Simpler’s focus on transparency and accountability sets him apart. He understands that effective governance requires collaboration and open dialogue. His willingness to engage with constituents and address their concerns makes him a relatable and trustworthy leader, as he believes in working for the people and their goals, not telling them what they should have and forcing a narrow ideology over service for all.

In a time when our community needs stability and sound leadership, supporting Mike Simpler means investing in a brighter future for everyone. Let’s come together to back a candidate who truly represents our values and aspirations, and who is bringing together Democrats, Republicans and Independents in a unique moment of political collaboration and mutual support, to make coastal Sussex the best for all of us. Vote Mike now by absentee ballot, or early voting as of Friday, Oct. 25, or on Tuesday, Nov. 5, but any way you do it, he's the one voice that all of us can count on.
