Five-vehicle crash on Route 1 sends one to hospital

One person was taken to the hospital following a five-vehicle crash Oct. 13 on Route 1 near Miller Road.
The crash happened about 8:45 p.m. The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and emergency responders were dispatched.
Officials said one person was transported to the hospital. Fire units and fire police remained on scene for two hours while Delaware State Police investigated the incident. More information will be provided when available.
