Hilovsky represents with integrity, compassion

October 22, 2024

Today, I am writing in support of Rep. Jeff Hilovsky’s re-election campaign. Jeff has represented Delaware’s Fourth District with integrity, commitment and compassion.

He has had an indelible and positive impact on Delaware, specifically Sussex County. His participation and leadership in the Lions Club and the Easterseals County Advisory Board have been exemplary.  Additionally, he has played a big entrepreneurial role in the local economy.

Jeff is an eye doctor, a highly respected optometrist, who founded Sussex Eye Center. He has provided exceptional eye care to the community. His successful practice also has created job opportunities for many local citizens. He also has taken on state leadership roles within his chosen profession.

Rep. Hilovsky is also a proud veteran. He has served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Gulf, Iraqi and Afghan wars. He has attained the rank of colonel and medical commander at Dover Air Force Base.

Jeff has also taken on an educational role within local schools. For example, he has founded the Leadership Is a Lifestyle program, which is taught at Sussex Central High SchoolCape Henlopen High School and Delmar High School.

He has used his formidable knowledge and leadership skills to enhance Delaware and Sussex County. He has initiated an endeavor to improve high school students’ financial literacy through a bill he has put forward in the Delaware House of Representatives. Additionally, he is working hard to improve healthcare through his Reimagine Healthcare in Delaware efforts.

I urge all voters to support Rep. Hilovsky in his re-election campaign. He deserves our support in his efforts to make Delaware and Sussex County an even better place to live and work.
