Cape Henlopen Elks support Shepherd’s Office

November 15, 2024

The Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 Community Outreach Committee recently collected and delivered 377 pairs of socks to Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown.

Run by Director Jim Martin, the Shepherd's Office helps feed, clothe and care for those who are homeless, hungry or lonely, thereby improving the lives of people in great need and helping them become self-reliant. Socks are one of its clients’ most-requested items.

Gathered at the Shepherd’s Office are (l-r) Cape Henlopen Elks members (l-r) Karen Neelans; Barb Gilsenan, community outreach chair; and Elaine Reiter.
