Local nursing nonprofit welcomes 2025 board members

November 26, 2024

Nurses & Neighbors Collaborative Inc. has welcomed Nancy Hromack, BSN, RN, and Rose Rossi, PhD, MBA, RN, to its 2025 board of directors.

A 501c3 nonprofit founded in 2022 with the mission to improve health and wellness within local neighborhoods through nurse-led programs, Nurses & Neighbors has used its members’ collective nursing experience to work with the homeless, volunteer in vaccination clinics, present health information to community groups, and serve as volunteer nurses in partnership with community-based organizations.

Hromack has enjoyed a 46-year career in healthcare that has spanned a range of experiences, from intensive care nursing to medical policy and quality management.

Rossi is a senior executive in healthcare education. She is associate dean of undergraduate programs at Widener University in West Chester, Pa., where she manages a $6 million undergraduate program budget with 3,000 undergraduate students and 40 undergraduate programs.

"We are excited to have Nancy and Rose’s leadership and healthcare experience to help our nursing group continue to make a difference for nurses and our neighbors in southern Delaware," said Bet Key Wong, MSN, RN, CNOR, co-founder of Nurses & Neighbors Collaborative.
