ADDICTION AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

For people returning from treatment or incarceration, transitional housing is often a crucial first step in recovery.  Peer support in a safe, clean-living environment increases the odds of successful integration into the community and allows time and space for healing relationships with loved ones.

However, when arriving alone after a long period of extremely structured days at a facilty, acclimating to the real-world can quickly become overwhelming daunting and verwhelming.; and the first two weeks at a sober living house are a critical period, where avoiding relapse may depend on the availability of important resources and the guidance of experienced professionals.

Christian Grace LLC adds an important advantage for their arriving residents.  From the moment a client arrives, they’re made to understand that they’re not alone, and have fast easy and free access to a whole team of health providers and resources.

David Forman, President of Christian Grace, LLC said, “Christian Grace is both our name and our mission. Professional support no longer ends upon arrival, it now literally comes to the front door.  From the moment clients arrive, they’re made to feel heard, assured they’re not alone on their journey, and connected with all the services and material needs that create the best chance for successful recovery.”

FOURTH NEW LOCATION!

Our homes have private and shared space available in Georgetown.   For those with transportation, homes on Patriots Way near Sussex Central High School, and on Gravel Hill Road at Route 9, offer quiet privacy surrounded by nature; and homes on New Street and S. Railroad offer those without a vehicle easy access and proximity to buses, stores and resources from a few blocks off the circle in town.

If you or a loved one will be exiting a treatment program, or substance-related incarceration and are looking for a supportive, safe and affordable living environment,
visit Christian-Grace.com for information and entry application. Men’s rooms are always avaiable.  Couple’s spaces are also avaiable at this time!

Those simply seeking safe affordable housing while living drug and alcohol free are also welcome!
