As a devoted and faithful Catholic, Lucia was a founding member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Lewes, where she was an active participant in the life of the parish. Her faith and family were always at the core of her life. Lucia was also an avid Washington Redskins fan and found great joy in hosting family and friends, creating a warm, welcoming home for all.

In addition to her parents, Lucia was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert Earl McConchie; and five siblings, Russell Trupo, Marie Lillo, Louis “Zeke” Trupo, Teresa Hines, and Leonard J. “Joe” Trupo.

Lucia is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Becker (Ken) of Lewes, and Marla Daddario (Mike) of Gordonville, Pa.; her grandchildren, Paul Becker of Rehoboth, Katie Poinen (Jean Paul) of Nantes, France, Anna Daddario of West Chester, Pa., and Thomas Daddario of Cambridge, Md.; and her great-grandchildren, Joshua Poinen and Cecilia Lucia Poinen. She is also survived by countless dear friends at Country Rest Home, whom she considered family.

Lucia’s presence in the lives of her loved ones will be deeply missed. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, nurturing spirit, and the love she gave so freely to all. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire those fortunate to know and love her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 27, at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro.
